Befikre grossed around 11 crore nett on Saturday which was limited growth from Friday. The film really needed to do 1 crore nett more to put it in a good position which would have enabled to easily cross 35 crore nett. A film like Dil Dhadakne Do which had a similar audience target of urban youth and also featured Ranveer Singh with ensemble cast had a first day of 9.69 crore nett and then went to 11.55 crore nett on Saturday which was growth of a little under 20% while Befikre the growth is under 10%. The two day business is in the same range as that film but Dil Dhadakne Do also put on 20% on Sunday even though the film was not appreciated. On fair value the collections are higher than Dil Dhadakne Do here as the release was weaker due to demonetization and it would have lost some business but the trend is weaker than that film. The two day business of the film is as follows.

TOTAL - 21,50,00,000 apprx
The film has managed to grow in practically all the circuits but they is that the main multiplex areas like Mumbai, Delhi / UP and East Punjab did not perform the way they should have on Saturday. If these areas had jumped 20% on Saturday it would be a different picture for the film.
Unless the Sunday growth comes in more than expected it will be average weekend collections on a not so good trend and the latter will make it tough on the weekdays.
