Semi-Hit verdict is sometimes given when the film is very profitable for the producers, but for the distributors that bought the film at a huge price, there were losses involved as they thought that the film would do much more business than the price at which they bought the film at (ex: Dilwale, Jai Ho).

@ rajranbirshashi, Thank you! 😃 I'm actually thinking of making a separate thread today that will illustrate how I predicted the 10.5 crore opening for Befikre! Regarding your semester end results, if you study hard I assure you it will be an A+! ⭐️ I myself need to study more for my final exams, I spend too much time on this forum especially with Befikre having released 😆 Befikre needs about 85 crores to get Hit verdict, from what I have read from BollyArena website. Yes, as I've written, the WOM and box office trend in India seems to be similar to Tamasha so far! Befikre indeed has a terrible IMDB rating (3.7/10 with 1,242 votes). Gunday's rating was voted unfairly though by Bangladeshi protestors that were against the film!

Oh, i see. But Befikre seems to be have not trended like Tamasha cuz Sat is lower. But they have holidays on Monday so that should keep it afloat. Seems like a average/semi-hit at best. And a major flop/disaster overseas
