Every year someone else performs better than Anushka in movies and takes away all the award.

Only thing she can do is marry Virat Kohli. She concentrates more on him than on her movies.

Sometimes people are more jealous of KJO than Alia's talent. I think having a guide and mentor like KJO is the best thing happen to anyone in bollywood. I have also heard that Alia also takes advice from Bhatt family regarding roles.

True, Anushka is not a risk taker in her career. The only risk she took in her career is producing NH10, a movie which felt more like a glorified crime patrol episode.

Other actors do take risk by playing different characters.

I adore Anushka to bits and she was effing amazing in Sultan and ADHM. Infact she was the best part of Sultan for me. Despite SK being the character that the movie was about , it was Aarfa who was the soul of that movie and Anushka was a scene stealer man. But one has to also get that every award jury is different , everyone jury's choices would be different. I haven't seen UP or Kahaani 2 but Alia was beyond flawless in DZ. I don't think other female actors have to be put down in order to justify why Anushka didn't win an award. It's not like an Alia didn't deserve the award for DZ or UP. The girl was praised to skies by the critics for those movies.

Shahrukh who was effing amazing in FAN didn't win an award either. One can look at the kind of reviews his performance got. He got unanimous acclaim for his performance even from those who didn't care much for the movie but he didn't win the Star Screen Award and it's okay. The jury thought AB deserved the award and they are entitled to that opinion. It doesn't mean Shahrukh wasn't great in FAN , just like the jury thought Alia deserved the award , it doesn't mean Anushka wasn't great in Sultan and ADHM.
