u may have a different view but pls just dont give me this "bad actor" crap. too old fr me, and not even true. You r just giving a name to his low phase, thats it. and he doesnt need it.
as for being hated by the critics and media, well he is, since all v get to hear is crap written about him. only stuffs about his stupid so called relationship with Alia etc. In one way his pr is lazy, but thats what brings it down. n how? he's a non industry guy with just a stupid mentor. no one in his family to guide him, no theatre background, simply surviving on good content projects, and ofcourse talent. Nobody will be jealous of him and his good projects, since others are great responses currently but he is in a low phase now, which every actor faces. not that he's too lucky to get good projects (thats exactly what i said, no effing body sees the amount of hardwork he puts in)
give it a thought, whats the first thing that comes in ur mind when i say Ek Villain? The first thing 90% would say either Guru or Sidharth Malhotra. Why? becoz he made more of an impact than anybody else. and why? becoz he's talented.even then people praised Sid to the core. But today, they give the credit to Ritesh? why? low and unlucky phase of Sid again. And i said people not critics. the critics never praises him and yesterday we actually saw the real side of critics. so feel free to think who is right and who isnt?
Sid just requires some time to prove himself. just becoz he debuted with two starkids who r shinning today, doesnt mean u push him and call him "mediocre". every person takes time to get into the core, n Sid is one of them. if thats how u ppl will already start tagging him in just 4 years, its not gonna work. And think about this too- u r tagging and comparing him now itself probably bcoz u think he has potential but hasnt performed accordingly. its all about time mate.
