She is an outsider and doesn't lobby and hobnob with insiders. I hope, being in KJO's company, she has picked some tricks of trade.

I guess its her Army background that stops her from bending backwards for these trophies.

She can promise these awards organizers to turn up with Virat in tow, and they will give her award for TRP and press it would generate. Anu receiving an award and Virat cheering for it will make a nice copy. She is not using that to get award. Kudos to the girl👍🏼

To win an award this year she should've created a bigger impact onscreen than co-contender Alia Bhatt as a performer. Alia performed consistently good in all her films this year especially Udta Punjab's Alia was better than Anushka's acting in ADHM+Sultan combined. anu was good in sultan but to say who deserves better i would put alia,sonam,tapsee and then anu !

I think Anu gets a raw deal as she doesn't lobby much.
