It would have been difficult for her to climb success stairs so soon without KJO. That is for sure. He has been guiding her quite well so far. And she has talent. There is no doubt about it.

Nope. Her playing this girl next door kind of roles are good but Highway and UP there are other actresses who would have naild that part muuch muuch better than her. I thought she was average. There is a reason why there is a process called auditioning its not about oh yeah get the star she can act some people need to fit in and she was clearly pushed into the character thx for Kjo and giving her the best possible scripts and connections even when a director didnt thought of her.

She might have done 1 or 2 films and would have met Imran Khans fate. Atleast imran is good looking.
Alia is neither good looking nor talented.
Kjo shoving her down everyones throat and pulling every possible strings to get the best films is telling how untalented and priviledged she is.

I am bored of her over exposure already.

With Alia; it's a great mix of talent, guidance and PR crafted "jlaw " image. Most of her films post her launch have been produced by Karan Johar. He is guiding her and moulding her, to become the superstar of the generation.

Without him, she could have still made it with her skill and fathers name, but it would have taken a longer time, since she wouldn't get the choice of best scripts, best directors, and then make her choices. She would be like a Pari- good industry backing but still has her work cut out for her.

I loved Alia in Highway,Udta or DZ promos . But fact is she would not have made it without KJO . We all know so many actresses were launched in 2012-Illeana,Yami,Huma all were way above than Alia , in terms of their first role , beauty , figure . She was so much criticized , if not a bollywood starkid , she would not have got second film. Who after seeing SOTY would have offered Highway , if not KJO's lobbying?? How would they know she can act so well after seeing SOTY?

Only kjo and her network helped her get Highway . But She is immensely talented . Kjo did the right thing promoting her. Industry needs actors like Alia
