i watched it, i didn't see anything wrong with the interview, ellen says sarcastic jokes to many of her guests, and i dont think she was being rude to pc at all, she was actually being really nice

If anything Ellen was being her usual silly goofy self which is why she's so beloved here. The "it's a miracle dig" is how her humor is, she didnt insult PC rather she was instilling the English wave thing she was doing. That's the way Ellen is very sarcastic. And if you've seen her show then you'd know that she's usually snarkier and more sarcastic with her monologue than her guest interviews.

If anything Ellen was actually fairly decent with PC here than she is with her usual guests like Sofia Vergara and Pink and Bieber and all. This is just because it's her first time on the show.

Michelle Obama? 😲 What could that utterly sweet amazing woman even do to invite any type of digs? There is nothing even remotely dig-worthy about her? I'm not liking Ellen more & more. 😆

Freida Pinto and Dev Patel appeared on Ellen for Slumdog promotions years ago..

Since most of the posts here were related to my post- I'll clarify I have not watched Ellen, so really have no idea how she treats her other guests! I'm not into this digs kind of humour too! I thought it as of if I were in PC's place, and I would've been VERY embarrassed, and that's why I said what I said! Also it's even more humiliating and demoralising if you are fairly new. These kinds of things do take a hit at your confidence, I don't find it humourous then! Also I found Ellen's tone very conscending. Like PC who is the wittiest in all, couldn't utter a single comeback, because of how Ellen intimidated her. PC is the miss world there, and she is like no no you don't know the right way this is how you do it- it's a miracle you reached this far like W*F how uncalled that was for! Anyways I'll believe if you guys say she behaves the same way with other guests too but that still doesn't mean a ke it right, everyone appreciates different types of humour clearly this is not my type.

Also want to say PC did another chat show the same day called Chelsea and this lady joked too. She was like do people in india know English? - now the tone here could've made such a big difference to what this statement could've made into! But if you look at the interview she listens when PC gives the number of people who know English in India. This Chelsea lady didn't sound haughty at all.

I think Priyanka looked very overly made-up. May be Ellen had a hard time looking at her face.

I've seen enough of Ellen to know that this is pretty normal.. She is not being rude...I do think she didn't buy PC's story about how she entered and won Miss India (but nobody does).

Ellen is anything BUT rude to her guests seriously check out her show she is really sweet and witty and one of the genuine celebs out there. The Michelle Obama thing was a JOKE she jokes with her a lot because she's her friend. They had a segment with her going to CVS which is one of the funniest things ever. Ellen's humor is like dorky humor it's all in good spirit, she was sweet to PC Sorry that this interview made it seem like she was being rude. Ellen is never rude her whole show is about being kind to one another.

Sorry if I seem defensive but Ellen is one of my faves and her show really helped me at a time when I needed it the most. Trust me Ellen is the sweetest, the way she has her guests come in when they've done kind things is one of the most heartwarming things ever

You thought Ellen was rude but not Chelsea Handler?? 😳 she's rude and crass as they come sorry Ellen is ten times classier than Chelsea 🤢
