Sultan was a movie about an obesed overweight fat uncle trying to be a wrestler to impress a girl, and becoming an Olympic champion in the process.

Quality wise, Dangal can be way better. But it may not match Sultan's collection, as the latter had more entertainment quotient. (After all, it was a mass entertainer).

I have seen the other movie from Dangal director. (Neil batti sannata). He chooses interesting subject. But narration sometimes gets stagnant. Whole story is shown in trailer itself. Movie just becomes extension of that. Neil batti sannata had much more potential. Hope, Amir has corrected those mistakes in his movie.

Whatever it is, collection is not the only thing in life. Film will definitely make profit. Whether it is all time blockbuster or not, it will be a quality movie.

Words Salman and collection go hand by hand. Go behind perfection, not behind success. 😉

Amir is a better actor. Dangal looks more authentic. Whether it collects above 300 crore or not (obviously it does not have songs like Baby ko..) , one cannot take away the first two factors from Dangal.
