The reason why i cant appreciate Sultan is because they never showed the real struggle a sports person goes through.The sacrifices that they make.Sultan trained for 3 months and always won gold in every tournament .Then in second half learnt another sport in a few weeks and again started winning.Highly unrealistic.

But Dangal is not a fictional story .Its a real life story with realistic struggles and realistic wins.Hence there is no comparison.

Exactly! Sultan is a very unrealistic story written for the masses aimed to milk Salman's stardom...But Dangal is a totally different ball game...Comparison kaha hi?

Sultan was a fine movie with great performances by everyone in it. Infact, one of Salman's finest.

That said, we have to wait for Dangal to release before we actually start comparing the two.

The one drawback for me in Sultan was Salman's Haryanvi accent. Now this is something that I think AK will nail pretty well.

Baaki to, audience will give its verdict come December.

No shit Sherlock the plot of Dangal is about girls/women while sultan is about sultan. How is that a point for Dangal. I didn't movies about men had to be feminist 🤪

Movies about men don't have to be feminist. Not at all! The only reason sultan and dangal are compared in the woman department is because the premise of sultan's even getting into wrestling was because of a girl, who was a wrestler herself, and his winning gold was even built on HER sacrifice of her dreams to win gold as a wrestler. The circumstances were created in the movie as such that she would give up her dream and the focus would be on salman as he is the "Hero" so of course, he can't stand behind his wife and watch her win, he has to win himself. Thus, the circumstances that were created. 😆 So yes, Dangal is more about women than sultan despite sultan having that one woman wrestler and her dream as a backdrop.
