We've got plenty of Ramayana, Mahabharata, Vishnu Purana, Shiv Purana, Hanuman shows and even shows/movies on less known characters like Ghatotkatch or Barbarik.
Have different versions of Buddha
But none on Islam, Christianity ( Last show on Jesus I remember was made 16 years ago.) Though there're lot of foreign Jesus story shows from West.
I am sure there must be some stories, some folktales in each religion. But in India we've different versions and reboots of Hindu mythology.

I would like to know Islam based shows since I've literally heard none coz I am not aware of them. Maybe they're made on Islamic countries?

Abrahamic religions (islam, christianity, judaism) usually do not allow any portrayal of their religious figures. Although there is some division between sects of Islam but when it comes to this it is pretty uniformed opinion and understood among the 1.6 billion muslims that it is strictly forbidden. Hence there are none. There is no room or inch of leeway when it comes to that. It is not allowed for any human being to emulate any God or religious figure.

^ I don't think there's any.
Also I don't think they have any popular leaders as such. (I am ignorant so correct me if I am wrong)

I can answer you a lot of questions on variety of subjects. Ive been to Golden Temple, been to Tirupati with my friends, spent a better part of my life celebrating Christmas and thanksgiving and have a small understanding of all major religions except scientology but in no way an expertise. I think there is no right or wrong answer it is mostly open to interpretation.😆

If a Christian is okay with Jesus on underwear then it does not mean other religions will be okay with their figures on underwear. So stop expecting that

If a Hindu is tolerant to make fun of their Gods then he or she should not expect that others will do the same

if a Muslim has a certain view when it comes to modesty then it does not mean other should follow that as well

Problem occurs when one tries to expand into others. To me the answer to this will depend upon what kind of religion we are talking about. today Hindus are fine but tomorrow if they decide that no we should not be shown in movies like this then movies should stop showing them like that

Stop thinking about others

Stop judging others

Stop wanting others to be like you

Stop it

Stop

THIS!!!!...couldn't be better put than this👏👏👏

As far as my knowledge goes prophet Mohammed was revealed Quran by angels(?) And he was the messenger who spread the God's word among believers. There are hadith's which are way of life chronicled by prophet Mohammed's wife other than that there are no leaders or guru's in Islam. I maybe wrong as I am not well versed with Islam.

Well said. But this can also bring discord and division. In India we have certain cities believing into certain Gods and there is no uniformity. What is funny to one, is sentimental to another. I know there has been many satires on Ramayan and Mahabharat etc but Iam not fond of any. There doesnt need to be one in my opinion. If I want to know about it I will read the books, its all written there. Movies and TV tend to distort and bring cinematic values to it so you tend to lose out and hence there is so much misinformation.
