In Islam Mohammed is NOT a God. He is one of the prophets along with Jesus, David, Moses and others. Most modern Islam comes from the way of life of Mohammed and hadiths are his day to day chronicles and sayings. There is no leaders or castes. They neither pray to Mohammed nor the black stone which is called Mecca. For them God has no shape or being. But for the most part they are very casual with God and only pray to him. Hence they cant put a shape to it and see it in print or in media.

I know that in Islam they only worship the creator and not his creations and prophet Mohammed being one of Allah's creations he isn't worshipped but is revered for being the god's chosen one to spread the message. I also know about hadith's. And that black stone isn't called Mecca. Mecca is the holy city where kabaa is situated and it kind of unifies the entire Muslims of the world as they all turn to it while they pray irrespective of social status, race etc; the black stone actually holds no significance I think and is kissed only because the prophet did so. (I maybe wrong)

I think yamyam is a better candidate who can clarify few things

Typing on my smartphone and trying to keep up with paragraphs is taking some time. One more thing I forgot to add. Although in Islam Allah is their God and they believe it has no shape or form and is everywhere around them hence it cannot be portrayed through a human character or in human shape. But here is where things get interesting. People are more casual when it comes to God than the Prophet. They can relate to God and share their feelings, pray to it and also get mad when things dont go that way. But you cant do the same with the Prophets. They are off limits and are afforded a lot more respect and sensitivity.

Very hard to explain but they are more down to earth and comfortable with God like their friend.

Yes and No. Its mostly Dharmic religions but Hinduism consists most of it but there are others. When it comes to religions there is only two. Abrahmic and Dharmic. Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism are all dharmic. But from there they vary between the singular god vs many god. But again there is confusion because Sikhism also do not usually allow any portrayal of their figures. I think buddhism does.

Of course Buddhism does. Jainism does. I've seen some shows on Guru Nanak Dev in punjabi but none in Hindi.
But like I said, major religions.
Their followers aren't as huge as Islam Christianity or Hinduism which have more than 1 billion population each

I think I can understand what u r trying to say. I like the concept of god being the friend. It seriously makes one never feel lonely. I believe God is within and that feeling gives lots of strength to sail through the difficulties of life.

Its so good to learn new things. For some reason my Muslim friends do not discuss religion nor they answer my queries 😕 I don't think google can give u in depth knowledge u r seeking.

Maybe they think they would not be able to provide you with accurate information and do not want to impart half one? Google is mostly terrible though unless you know the right sites which will tell you the authentic details

It is hard for them to also say anything because others will pounce of them because Islam does not have a leader so there is no human explanation or the absolute right way of things. Everything is based on interpreation and this is why life gets difficult for some of them. Nobody can come and say I know the right way and yours is the wrong way because there is no chosen one in Islam. People will just tell them to buzz off and move along. THere is no guru, there is no pope. An Imams job is simply to lead the prayer in mosque but you even any other person can do the same so even Imams importance is not there. The only reason they are appointed is because they are also caretaker who keeps the place clean and are punctual.

I would say Judaism to some extent as most of Jews follow him along with David since it was him who rescued them and cleared the nile river while they were being chased by the Pharoahs. This incident is mentioned in Bible, Quraan and Torah.
