Indian movie making fun of India theek hai.. You are making fun of something that is your own.. But making fun of another country which incidentally happens to br your rival most of the time is not something that people can be fine with.. And bringing in Quid was a bad bad idea

Take Daastan for example.. It showed that bad and good people are there in both India and Pakistan and yet Indians did not like the idea of Indians being shown in a bad light na?

I don't have the numbers but Indian movie industry is the biggest and just like India it is family past time for many families and it's like a ritual for any big budget movie to be seen. It might not be as it is when compared to dollar value from us Canada UK etc but it is a huge market when seen in viewership numbers. Don't think I have ever met a Pakistani who hasn't seen a bollywood movie. Even in remote areas like gilgit, or balochistan or khyber paktunkhwa areas near Afghanistan they know about bollywood movies and hindi songs.

Depends on how much emphasis they give to the country of origin of the leads...

Almost 6-7 weeks are still left before the movie releases.. Who knows what will happen in those days

It will be a hit overseas, KJo's movies always succeed overseas.

India mein some states will have backlash, but in some other states, people dont care abt all these things.

They will still go to watch the film for the lovely songs, also fans of RK, Ash, Anu, Fawad will go watch it, and those who are fans of KJo movies.

Boss - I vaguely remember some BW personality saying , maybe Saif during Phantom , that ban in Pak isn't huge loss of business - maybe loss of 2-3 Crores. So Pak theatre earning market isn't big. Fan base is huge , all over the world. Pak- Bangladesh people make most Indian movies a semi hit in UK

Let the film release yaar. Phir rhona dhona shuru kar 😆. I personally don't think it is a wow film with a lot of KJO masala, but he is KJO in the end, his films work mostly. IF the film flops and it is a big IF he has to answer more than Ranbir to most reasonable people.
