Bhai's recent movies movies, Bb and sultan made me realize that if he put his heart in his characters, he can give run for money.i am glad he staying away from this method acting formula and not doing million retakes before saying ok to one single shot. ... i read an article i wish i could dig it up now (it was in brunch i think a couple of years back), how Aamir was really behind in the rat-race with srk and salman. And then this whole huge campaign started that projected him as a thinking actor who does one movie in 2-3 years and all. Anyways the point was just like SRK built his marketable image, salmn built his image, the same way aamir has put in years and a huge huge team in building this "best actor evah!!!" image

I don't find his acting all the special and like @yamyam said - i just don't connect with him. For me he is not the character, he always remains an actor acting the character
