When Fawad Khan and Deepika Padukone came together for Manish Malhotra's opening show at the India Couture Week on July 20 in Delhi, they were mere acquaintances having had met at award galas and parties. But the incredible response to the show and a dinner party (hosted by Manish Malhotra after the fashion show) later, they became good friends and continue to stay in touch. Manish told Pinkvilla.com after the show, "I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and attitude. He came and practiced his walk. To celebrate the show, very few of us met afterwards where we discussed movies over food. I must say, I'm very impressed with how well behaved he is. We all had a great time together."Deepika hung out with Fawad, Manish and Anushka Sharma on the sets of Ae Dil Hain Mushkil's on the day when they shot the publicity stills in Mumbai's Mehboob Studios. Earlier this month, Deepika joined the cast and crew members of Ae Dil Hain Mushkil at the wrap party of the film in Taj Lands End, Mumbai. An onlooker from the party tells Pinkvilla, com: "They connected like two professionals and talked movies, actor's craft and their other interests. There was no mistaking that Deepika was very impressed with Fawad." Understandably there is a natural desire for the actors to collaborate on a film, and if sources are to be believed, Deepika is very keen that Fawad be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmavati. A source close to Sanjay Leela Bhansali says, "As of now, Deepika is the only one who is confirmed for the film. She has told Mr. Bhansali that Fawad is the perfect fit for both the male characters in the film."
