I never got holidays for new year 😆

25th Dec is only 1 day holiday in India. 1st Jan is not a holiday for majority.

Eid usually gets 2 days because in some parts people have it the previous day as well.

Diwali is the biggest holiday in India. And, it's strange that we don't see record-breakers on Diwali anymore. After Diwali, it's Christmas. A lot of factors help a Christmas release. There's New Year's holiday. People are generally more relaxed as its the year ending and no major movie releases after Christmas - until Republic Day.

Eid is the weakest of the three.

If I'm correct, Ready, RR, YJHD are the biggest non-Holiday Blockbusters this decade.

There hasnt been any universally good movie on Diwali since a long time may be thats why

Mujhe ek chota sa diff lagta hai Festival aur Holiday main

Festival pe Public Ghar main rehti hai and they celebrate festival in their home, that's why when movie release on festival got good start than holiday while holiday like independence day most people like to go for travel and enjoy their time with family on hill station etc...
