As far as I know Tees maar was in news for getting almost 100% opening, the same happens to Bhai movies and then after bad WOM collections go down.

Bhai fans save money all throughout the year to watch his 1 movie multiple times to make it a super hit.

If Sallu starts doing 3-4 movies a year like Akki all his movies will flop because fans can't afford to watch all 4movies 10 times at the multiplex 😆 😆

Akki comes 4 times a year and still people go to watch him and that is his power so don't compare with Eid obsessed phattu.

Eid is one day holiday like independence day and republic day.

If he can come close to 400 crore this year with Rustom going close to 140-150 crore then he is the only match for Salman in terms of popularity.

between why people thinks eid a a big holiday which salman enjoys, its vice versa ..if its celebrated so luciously in terms of cinema is concerned then its because of salman khan brand...

before salman khan eid was never a holiday to be rekoned with or is it? someone throw some light because i may be wrong too

Diwali is the biggest festive period
Christmas has advantage of New year holidays and its a WORLWIDE holiday

Eid is the weakest of the 3 release periods in India imo

Only if you dont live in India will you say Eid or Xmas are weaker release periods compared to Diwali. India is a Hindu majority country. That means majority is busy with festivites in India during the Hindu festival of Diwali and dont have time to watch movies. While during Xmas and Eid we get holidays and we have nothing to do apart from maybe watch movies if we want to. Thats the reason why a movie which releases before or on Diwali always opens low (like Ra1 and K3) while a movie which opens even before Eid, Xmas opens well (Kick, BB, Sultan, D3, PK). Traditionally though biggest holiday is day after Diwali hence that day has opening day record (PRDP, HNY).
