Probably because like MythicalMoth said she doesnt have the X factor 🤔 but i still have hopes were she is concerned! She just needs that one film!

Trust me she has had many such "one films" but nothing worked coz when people walkout of a cinema they remember Kat's oomph.. Deepika's grace but there's nothing about Anushka which audience can take back with them. I am not saying she's a bad actor. She's good and always gave best shot in all her movies but she doesn't add any extra value to the movie.

She has done most of her movies with Khans or seniors 🤔 There are many who still remember her as the awesome Shruti Kakkar from BBB, such a film with a young actor can help though not sure to wat extent!

One reason could be coz she isn't that great looking onscreen. Prior to her surgery she was fine but post-surgery she looks really bad. She doesn't have the superstar aura like D-pad has. She doesn't have the zeal and enthusiasm to reach the top. I think she isn't that ambitious like DP or Pc, she's just happy in what she's doing. Like someone said a PZ of her times.
