Mohenjo Daro was doomed right from the day the trailer released.. it looked bad.

Star power will only help if the content is decent. But if it is outright bad, nothing can save it.

If any actor fails to deliver even in one film his next film fees is definitely affected. The last 3 movies of HR have been pretty successful...Agneepath, Krrish3, ZNMD, Bang Bang. Though Bang Bang was cliched but still managed to do good business. It's not just an actor who brings success for the film, its the script and direction as well. Whatever business MJ is doing is solely because of HR's stardom. No review had mentioned that he lacks in his acting or effoprt anywhere in the film but if the film itself lacks quality the actor cant be blamed. But I still feel HR might see a drop in his fee for his next ventures atleast until both Kaabil and his next flick are able to garner good numbers. The market value of any star depends on his most recent film, and per that, if HR was paid high fees acc to his last releases, its pretty justified.

I've always liked HR, but these days - he puts me off. He doesn't have the charisma anymore nor the star presence you'd expect.

KNPH, KMG, Krrish, Dhoom 2, and Agneepath - these are HR's biggest Hits. He's had gems like Fiza, Lakshya, and ZNMD.

He does need to evaluate his scripts before signing movies because his recent movies have been underwhelming.

MD looked stale right from the onset. His next - Kaabil - doesn't excite me either.

The fight for 5th spot is still on. Between HR, Ranbir, Ranveer, and Ajay - anyone can claim it. The way Ranveer is growing, he may soon claim that and unless HR changes his on-screen persona and selection of movies, he'll lag behind.

Well, its dicey to go by opening because a movie can get opening because of songs or dances or some dialogue also. Then should those guys get paid for it instead of the star? They should decide the fees on a ratio which does not turn the budget topsy turvy. It should be open to revision.

It is for the producers to decide. MD's opening was totally because of HR else it didn't have any other elements to it.

Utv and Gowarikar got 65 cr back before Mohenjo released in theater that is solely cos of Hrithik's stardom, any other smaller actor wouldn't have guaranteed that. A film that was trashed since the trailer was launched, with pathetic music, zero support from industry and with a clash, it was expected. Btw Hrithik's last release was also trashed and yet it collected 141 cr @ box offc.

As far as remuneration goes, apart from Salman, nobody deserves to get paid 50+ crores. Aamir and SRK would fall in the range of 30-35 crores, with HR and Akki in the range of 20-25 crores. The rest shouldn't be getting more than 15. Ideally - of course.

i dnt think for risky projects they should demand pathetic high fees. if its a commercial 1 sure bt projects like bv etc u cant be greedy
