It was better than RamLeela, but while watching it, I sort of got that sense that I was watching a really pretty painting. Good for one view, but something I wouldn't look at again

SLB had a great pair with RS and DP and had the great sets and imagery, but unfortunately glossed over just why the main couple were in love with each other. I could not see the depth of their love. In contrast, I felt more of a connection between DP's Piku and Irrfan's Rana in Piku even though there was no love story between them in that movie, just very subtle hints. In short, SLB needs to step up his game for these "epic" stories

I didn't watch the complete movie. It was boring for me .I said it at the time of DW vs BM itself that BM is made to be seem a masterpiece just because it was released with the shitty Dilwale ,only after people are done with this clash , topics like BM is so overrated will start flooding in the forum .
And I couldn't even complete watching Dilwale on my lappy inspite of being an ardent SRK-Kajol fan .

The only thing I liked in this film was Diwani Mastani song. From that I had a whole different story in my head from what I watched.
I ended up hating every character except Kashi Bai. I felt bad for her character. Deepika's acting was terrible, Ranveer was good but I hated watching him.
