Only aspect I Iiked was Priyanka's performance

it was phenomenal experience watching this movie 😃

the visuals, the songs, the war scenes everything is grand

My first impression about this movie was ok but when I watched this movie again I realized that the movie had lot of flaws. I always felt that the title of the movie was not suitable . The movie mainly focused on Kashi's emotions than Mastani's love. Mastani's character was narrated badly. She was introduced as strong willed, fighter woman but all of a sudden she has become a hopeless ,brainless lover. The scene which Bajirao accepted her as his wife was such an awkward moment , it was like he has decided to marry her as she didn't give him any other option. Their love journey was unimpressive No wonder Kashi got all the applause , it was the best written and developed character of SLB whereas Mastani was worst written character . I could even relate to Leela in Ramleela ,except four scenes Mastani's portrayal was awful . (1. The introduction scene of Mastani and the following face off bw Mastani and Bajirao 2. The scene which Mastani saves Bajorao, 3. The scene which Mastani fights with enemies holding her kid 4.The jail scene )
Can we blame Deepika for the same ? I won't say yes as Deepika is completely a director's actor , she is outstanding when the director is good . Here SLB is good but his narration of Mastani was worst .

Why am not surprised this thread is an ATBB. People on this forum praised BM and thrashed Diwale without watching either. I felt like walking out of BM towards the end while Dilwale I managed to atleast sit thru. All superstars should run when SLB's next film releases. Then we will see how it does on its own without being seen as a means to pulling down someone else. The funniest part is the fan group (apart from the fans of the actors of BM) supporting BM during its clash with Diwale were paid back when BM walked away with all the awards when they were expecting National Award for their favorite star. Those who dig a hole for others...fall in it themselves as they say. 😉
