NO DP, your GK is very poor, India was always on world. The invasions by Mughals and Britishers took place because it was a land known for its riches. We have far richer culture and heritage to boast off than Aish. Making such statements put you in poor light.

Lol. What's with Deepika? What happened to the deepyanka ship? I thought these two were good friends. But deepika's answer paints a different picture! 😛 her answer kind of shows that she's insecure of the kind of success Priyanka has. I've always said, PC has achieved so much in HW that no BW star has ever achieved to that extent! Not even ash! PC is just like any other HW star there. That's the kind of success she's achieved. Deepika, for now, doesn't come close. Perhaps we'd be able to debate over this once xxx releases.

I think she meant Indian cinema.l, and not India.

What is with PC fans? She is not undermining PC's achievements anywhere or 'jealous' of her.

She is saying Ash STARTED it and put Indian cinema on the global map which is completely true.

Ash put the Indian film industry on the map and is the one who started this. She may have done only 4-5 films but she left a indelible mark globally and is the most recognizable Indian actress. Yes, she is the torch bearer! I am glad Deepika acknowledged it. Bride and Prejudice is one the most popular Indian English movies, right up there in the top 3 with BILB & Slumdog.

PC is another big success but we will see how she does in the movies. But kudos to her for Quantico, but she is no torch bearer.

Nothing wrong with praising Aish but they asked Deepika to comment on "Priyanka's success in Hollywood" and she changed the whole topic... that's what's weird!

ofcourse she will mention Aish...Pc still has to show her mettle in HW movies...right now she is going a television SHOW, not a movie...
