Movies and TV in Hollywood is very different than India! actors/actresses do both interchangeably! The Rock might do 3-4 films a year but he still does a TV show, Ballers which is in it's second season now. Matthew McConaughey acted in a series called True Detective after winning an Oscar. Don't look down on television SHOWS. Priyanka has worked hard to make a name for herself out there, don't degrade her in an attempt to defend your favs.

People aren't wanting DP to praise PC, we're just surprised how she completely dodged the question about Priyanka!

Oh and Priyanka has praised Deepika many times... if PC dodged a question about DP like this I'm sure people would call her out for it too but Priyanka is always quite generous with her praise for people.

This forum just needs a post to bash DP, whether its pro or anti...even when she spoke about how sports helped her in her depression, people bashed her stating that she is selling depression blah blah blah...

Jokes aside, Deepika can praise Aishwarya Rai but the question was about Priyanka's success. Being the main lead of a TV show in a foreign land is a big deal. I think Kabir Bedi did it years ago still Priyanka has definitely made it big in comparison to Aishwarya, Irrfan, Deepika. Deepika could've acknowledged that. I still think Deepika wasted her time doing that stupid Xxx film.

Deepika didn't want to praise Priyanka .So? she did put Priyanka in the same bracket as her and others but put Aishwarya as the person who paved the way for them.

I usually support Deepika but it's so easy to see why people hate her and her PR. She deliberately ignored Priyanka when the question was about her and threw in a senior actress who is no competition at all anymore. It's like Alia Bhatt praising Kareena. It's only done because the older actress is n a different generation and nothing to worry about.

Torch bearer/pioneer...just means who are the people who were the front runners...it doesn't disrespect the current players...had Deepu said that Aish is the most successful one she would have been wrong ...she said Aish is the torch bearer...which is true...some one started it...now others joined too...and maybe they achieved more...doesn't take away from the torchbearer anyways...it is a pretty NEUTRAL statement in my opinion...nothing she said degrades PC in any way.
