All angles 😛 *runs away before tomatoes are thrown* 😆

My god...You people are being too harsh on this guy and its so unfair...honestly. The guy isn't bad looking at all. It's pathetic to say he's isn't hero material and not worthy of being an actor. He hasn't even debut and yet people are being very criticial towards him because of his looks.

Guys...grow up and stop being shallow. Looks isn't everything. Bollywood is a film industry not a modelling agency where actors get hired due their looks.

There are so many actors in Bollywood who may not be good looking but they are well liked.

Ranbir is strictly average looking but people love him because of his talent e.g. Barfi

Just because actor isn't good looking...that dosen't mean that they are unworthy.

Sunny Deol is a not good looking actor but the audiences loved him. He's of one the biggest stars in the 80s and 90s era. His talent is what made him stand out hence why he was popular.

Acting >>>>>>>>>>> Looks

Use common sense people.

I agree acting >>> Looks. The person you have in your profile picture is an example of it. But no one handed him a career though his dad was in BW. This dude is being launched by his father, I don't remember any starkid after Hrithik who has been launched by a family production for years But he worked hard. Most every other starkid has interned with film makers or went to film school before launch . What did this guy do ? Get launched by daddy. So the judgment will be harsh too, worse than for a Harsh Kapoor who actually went to film school and interned with people.

Why should we be 'fair" when he is practically thrust upon us ? The market will take care of this, that is the saving grace. I don't think we are being unfair or harsh when this guy practically walks into BW when outsiders are facing casting couches.

For your own information, Sunny is only giving his son a launch pad...which is not problem. There's nothing wrong that.

It's just a lauch pad. At least Sunny is not beggar like Sunil Shetty & Aditya Pancholi who needed Salman Khan to launch their children.

Dharmendra launch Bobby Deol in Barsaat. It was a launch pad. After that, Bobby got casted in good films like Kareeb, Solider, Badal and so and so.

Like I said its a launch pad for a debut. After that he will be on his own just like most Starkids. He will competing with younger generation.

@Nikhil92. I am not going to quote you because you have erratically giant text. Not sure if it is intentional or posting glitch.
Anyway, while I do agree that acting is greater than looks; Bollywood has historically been a shallow industry that focuses on looks especially for heroes. If looks had not been important the likes of Nana Patekar, Om Puri, Paresh Rawal who in my opinion are phenomenal actors would have been the leading men of our films. Occasionally we do have ordinary looking people like SRK or Ajay Devgan become successful as leading men, but it requires a lot of hard work. There is absolutely nothing wrong in saying they do not look like hero material. It is entrenched in realism.

No one explicitly said he is not worthy being an actor either. But nothing wrong in saying that either. To be worth of anything a person has to prove their worth. Currently, he has done nothing to prove it. He has not even attended any performance training. He is getting everything handed on a silver platter. If he is talented and dedicated - he will succed against all odds. If he is someone just being propped up by daddy dear - he will fail. Remember what happened to Kishen Kumar, Mimoh Chakarborty etc.

Well Salman is not launching starkid after starkid nor does his launch guarantee his level of stardom or even a next movie. But he is not their parent, he must have given some thought to their value to his company. They had to prove something to him for I don't think Salman is that much of a fool or beholden to their parents. But this is a launch by a father for his son. When Hrithik launched he worked for years. On dancing, appearance, body and he pretty much changed what a BW hero needs to be. Everyone else went to film school, worked on fitness like Tiger or interned with filmmakers. Everyone from Sonam to Ranbir to Harsh or were launched by someone who thought they had talent and willing to invest money in them. This is different. This is family. You don't have a problem with families thrusting starkids on us, but I do. So I will be harsh until I have heard he has worked. So far, ugly, needs a makeover, could use some work on fitness.

Why the hell should I accept crap and I don't mean this guy but an actor is a product. Movies are a product I consume and I pay for. So I have a right to my opinions and like I call a spade a spade, I call an ugly guy ugly, especially one launched by daddy. YMMV.

It's normal for parents to give their children a launch pad.

Bobby Deol was a launched by Dhamendra in Barsaat. After that, he landed in good films like Kareb, Solider, Badal and others.

Akshaye Khanna got it and went on to give brilliant performances.

I just don't want this guy to be under Sunny shadow after his debut. Otherwise he will be just like Sidharth Malhotra who relies on Karan Johar.

As much as we would like to disagree we can all agree that looks is the first thing you see in a person even before their personality. You will only able to get to know them after you see them. I have no problem judging somebody on their looks if they are celebrity. Looks is a part of the package and they are suppose to be above than average. It is no different then me looking for a qualified mechanic or a doctor or a lawyer. I judge them based on their skills. For an actor although acting is important, looks also is a valuable commodity.

Will Suhana Khan also meet the same fate as Tanisha and Esha Deol?

I feel she will end up just like them because Suhana really lacks the looks, glamour and talent! I mean she’s just NOT cut out for the glamour...
