# Fans who are expecting some high octane wrestling scenes in the film might be a little disappointed as the film has no major sequences in the first half of the film. The wrestling scenes begin only in the second half of the film. Although there is a song in the first half which has a few sequences.

# This is Salman's most uninhibited as well as raw performances which fans will get to see. The audience will be amazed to see Salman getting out of his superstar status and getting under the skin of the character. The 50-year old actor has undergone intense training and his efforts for the physical transformation is visible in every frame.

# The story takes a bit to settle down.Fans might feel a little disheartened as Salman does not have a typical opening scene in the film and the build up to the introduction of his character takes some time.

# The film is slightly long and the makers could have easily chopped the length of the film by about 15 minutes. Also Sultan has too many fight sequences in the second half of the film which stretches the film a bit.

# Post Sultan, director Ali Abbas Zafar is surely going to become one of the most sought after directors in Bollywood. The director has shot the film brilliantly and also made sure justice is done to the story. The script is the King of the film.
