To compare starpower, for all those lallu fans who are keen on doing so, compare flops to flops. Dilwale was SRK's jai ho. Compare the collections. And FAN is a flop. Compare it to salman's infinite number of flops between 1999 and 2009. And you will hopefully see why srk is the baap of any other actor.

Shah Rukh Khan's "Fan" is moving closer to the Rs. 200 crore mark at the worldwide box office with its gross collection. The revenge drama, directed by Maneesh Sharma, has grossed Rs. 174.29 crore till its second weekend from the worldwide centres.
"Fan," which is now the second highest Bollywood grosser of 2016, minted Rs. 79.25 crore net from the domestic box office. The film has also crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark with its gross collection by minting Rs. 113.21 crore in nine days in India.
At the overseas box office, the revenge drama minted Rs. 61.35 crore ($ 9.20 million) till its second weekend. The 10-day overseas box office collection of "Fan" is equal to "Ra.One" income and soon it will shatter the records of Salman's "Ek Tha Tiger," which minted $ 9.4 million.
"#Fan - Overseas - Total till Weekend 2: $ 9.20 million [ 61.35 cr]... Best in USA-Canada [$ 2.052 million], UAE-GCC [$ 3.310 million]," trade analyst Taran Adarsh .
The box office collection of Shah Rukh's film has declined drastically in the second weekend in India, but the overseas income is helping the film see a good worldwide figure.
Trade experts have said that the poor domestic box office collection is due to no songs and glamour in the film. Shah Rukh's last few films were an out-and-out entertainers with songs and pinch of comedy scenes. However, "Fan" was just a revenge drama filled with action scenes.
"With absolutely no 'relief' in the form of songs, especially 'Jabra Fan', comical tracks etc., the movie was perhaps too grave and serious for the audience to digest in these times. Having said that, the film has still done fine by notching up the best weekend numbers of 2016 so far," Akshaye Rathi, exhibitor and distributor, told Bollywood Hungama.
