He's still learning, and has a lot of room for improvement. But at this point he's also not as bad as IF makes him out to be. I don't think comparing him to someone who's done ten years of television drama is fare, but I think he held his own.

I disagree that Shraddha over shadowed him in EV, and SOTY definitely wasn't an Alia show. Alia was just a flower pot in that film. In fact I have enjoyed him in all his films. I think given the content, character and direction he's done pretty well in all of them.

Does he have certain advantages being part of Dharma's actors? Absolutely. But other than Brothers all his other films have done well. He's box office record is pretty good especially since except for SOTY all his other films aren't mainstream type movies. So I'm sure that plays a role also in why he gets offers.

Well he's doing all Dharma films or Dharma co-produced films. But we don't know for sure that he's not being offered anything else. And Ek Villan was a Balaji produced film. It took Vishesh films 4 years to pick their own Alia, I doubt they would have offered Aashiqui 3 to Sid if they didn't have confidence in him.

agree but if vishesh film can have shraddha and other shiity actors in hate story i dont think sid is that bad

I think he's an alright actor. Fawad, Ritesh, Akshay are WAY more experienced than him so he can't overshadow them, right?

I just love the dude, IMO he is the hottest boy in BW town and i like the person, but as an actor he is like below average, and as a performer he is just plain terrible.

Also lol at him being better than Fawad in Kapoors&Sons, and no you cannot get away saying, it is your opinion, because if your opinion is preferring shit over food, you deserve slack.
