why do sid malhotra gets overshadow every time - Page 6

Well acting is subjective but I don't think he gets overshadowed in the entirety of every film he does :| He's a hard worker and it's showing, at least to me, because he's getting better with each film he does. I'm not saying he's phenomenal or anything but I feel like because he acts with subtlety (again, my opinion) people tend to tag him as a non and/or a bad actor. He's not as 'expressionless' as everyone here likes to make him out to be lol. For me, Fawad was the better performer in K&S, sure, but let's not forget he's more experienced as well. But it was Sidharth's character which stuck to me, simply because it was relatable and he'd done a good job portraying Arjun Kapoor.

IF is just too harsh on Sid! I don't think he's THAT bad as he's made out to be. He has tons to improve but he isn't a bad actor at all. I think he was really good in HTP and KandS. His best being KandS IMO. He needs to up his game though. He can act just needs to improve on it. I am sure he'll do good. I hope he works hard for it. Offscreen, he's one of the sweetest guys out there. Loved him during KandS promotions. He was a sweetheart and i loved the way he and fawad bonded.

With Akshay, I wouldn't compare him. Kaha Akshay aur kaha Sidd. Akshay is amazing and its hard to overshadow him.

Personally, I loved Sidd more in SOTY than Varun...But that's just me because I'm not a Varun fan.

sid had to mouth dialogues even push his brother to show
his emotions..bt Fawad just rolled his eyes effortlessly to
convey his emotions...his silence spoke more than Sid's
acting..K n S belongs only to two ppl Fawad n Ratna Ji.

This means his screen presence is weak. He needs to work on it

I think IF is harsh 2 soty kids...i think he is good in htp and k&s...but i think what he lacks is screen presence and charm which is why i personally find varun better than him bcuz he has screen presence and charm in abundance

I think he's improving with every film I mean I found him great in K and S except that scene with Ratna but still he pulled off the role very well and I found him brilliant in HTP, he just nailed Nikhil and made him so charming and likeable IMO and in EV I found him subtle and intense sort of what his character was supposed to be. I think he'll improve as time goes on plus he's HOT so that's a plus, I want to see more of him 😳

He is improving, but he still needs to work on conveying emotions mor naturally by improving his voice and expressions, the scene with ratna in kapoor and sons didn't create as much of an impact as it needed to
