These were primarily used for tax evasion. Even if she had an income of 10cr this would have helped her evade taxes. This is ironical as Big B and co have boasted about being highest taxpayers in BW in the past so many times.

Also offshore accounts were illegal for Indians during the time frame she had these. Anyways having said that I dont think anything will happen to the Bachchans or anyone else in India. Bharat mata ki jai bol kar sab kat lenge.

It was illegal till 2003. RBI made it legal after that. Aishwarya's firm was floated in Oct 2004. So there's nothing illegal about it.

However, Amitabh has had this for 23 years, which is not legal as per RBI norms.

India lawfully permits foreign investments in accordance with certain regulations. Any investment abroad,if is in due compliance with Indian laws is legal. so its not a huge issue if lawfully done. whether anyone paid any tax(if only applicable) or not that the IT authorities will disclose in future and then only anyone can question about its legality.

Off-shoring is legal but AB Sr had it when it wasn't . The point is this firm has had shady clients and there is a trail explored here. if pursued well, it will throw up interesting names. Almost all the rick people do off-shore. I am sure these people have invested in HK and Dubai free zones and off-shores too.

Yes..but I think Ash did after they got legalized. i haven't checked her document but AB Sr clearly did it when it was illegal . There must be more influential names , I am honestly interested in that. They will not net AB Sr nor work with Ash. Don't know how the response of Indian news media be for this.

US press is strangely very silent.😆😆
