People sing national anthem in every country out of respect , not everyone is corrupt out there like Mr. respectable bachchan ji .

@bold you choice . I would rather keep national anthem close to my hear and be corruption free.

If they've stayed in India for more than 6 months, then there is something called the global income tax, which means that they are required to pay tax on their global income as well.

Only for NRIs? Nope.

In the past, Aishwarya had been paid for her international work assignments by Longines (Switzerland), L'Oreal (France), etc, and income tax people levied tax on those international assignments as well, to which she objected and sought deductions. She and the Income Tax Dept. went to court about this and the court ruled in her favour that the money she earned from international brands for international assignments (outside India) are not taxable. However, the amount she was paid for promoting Longines and L'Oreal and De Beers and other brands IN India were taxable.

Panama Papers: Aishwarya Rai's Team Says Report 'Totally Untrue'

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai are among celebrities who featured on Monday in a massive leak of documents, some of which reveal hidden offshore assets.

The media adviser of Ms Rai, former Miss World and a hugely successful actor, has rejected the documents as "totally untrue and false".

Ms Rai Bachchan was director and shareholder of an offshore company, along with members of her family, before it was thought to have been wound up in 2008, according to the Indian Express.

Mr Bachchan has not yet commented on the documents.

As with many of the people named in the documents, there is no evidence offered that the Bollywood A-listers used their companies for improper purposes, and having an offshore entity is not illegal.

The Express is among more than 100 media groups which have investigated a massive leak of 11.5 million documents from Mossack Fonseca, a Panama-based law firm with offices in 35 countries.
