Was AB better than Ranveer?

Well we have had a lot of Kangana vs Deepika, but I feel that was too close so both could have won. What makes me more saddened is the male actor award. Is there anyone who feels Ranveer deserved it much more than Mr. Bachchan? Surely Mr. Bachchan is a legend and he was good in Piku. But really was his performance so better than Ranveer? I don't think so. I wish they awarded actors like we get appraisals in corporate world. A senior will never get a good appraisal if he worked for 10 hours a day whole year on trivial things. His appraisal would be much higher if he got a new customer for the firm or contributed to overall sales growth. What I mean is in the non BW world people are not just awarded on basis of comparison with each other but in comparison to their earlier performance, they experience and past work. And from that angle I seriously feel Ranveer deserved it much much more than AB. What Mr. Bachchan did in Piku was much trivial for an actor of his caliber and experience but what Ranveer did in BM was phenomenal for an actor of his age and expertise. His performance was dignified, poised and impassioned in such a balanced way, not going over or under anywhere. I so wish they had awarded him the National award, if per them not for performance, then atleast to motivate a young talent who pushed his boundaries so hard with his last venture.

I consider Ranveer's performance one of the finest in Hindi cinema. He was definitely robbed.He deserved more than AB. He made Bajirao alive .He was exceptional.

If there was anyone from TeamBM that deserved a National Award, it's Ranveer Singh! His was the finest performance by a male actor last year, one of the best from whatever I've seen in the last decade. A movie that's made me into a life long fan of his.

AB's acting was not tough as Ranveer's, definitely not comparable to his role in Paa.

poori filam mien bacchan cheekha hay.he was just screaming I walked out of movie midway coz I found him annoying and crybaby.it was too much.infact wanted to see deepika performance but too much screaming by bhaskor🤢 so I DONT get why srb got NAT award. ranveer or salman other hand were more convincing. salman wasn't even in nomination. ranveer was top notched in BM why he didn't get.🥱. deepika on other hand was nowhere near kangu in piku she was good but what kangu pulled off in TWMR is outstanding

national award for ranveer for what? for making bajirao a cocky warrior who was frozen in many parts in that exhausting costume drama.😆

None. Ranveer was great and better than AB but not worthy of a National Award.
