Sadly you're suggesting that what qualifies in Bollywood, onehave to show the acting chops from the very first film. But if it is about acting, where the talent lies, then he has proven time and again that he can act. If you have not seen his work unfortunately you don't qualify to speak against his ability to perform. If someone suggested his first film in Bollywood was a stepping stone. It wasn't the best work but he managed just fine. People who have seen his work can attest that he is very talented. To you he may be overrated in the departments of looks and the over hype from his dramas but that should not reduce the talent that he truly possesses. He has a really unique way of showcasing his ability as an artist. It's refreshing to see after such a long time that someone can challenge other actors around him. I'm already predicting that this film will do wonders not only for him but for the second lead actor SID. He will push SID out of his comfort zone and make him act. Let's just wait and watch shall we

Fawad is getting a chance to work with Bollywood people that put you out there even if you had zilch talent. Even some of the most talented people in Bollywood never get their due recognition because they're not backed by any mainstream camp. The truth of the matter is, Fawad is being backed by Karan Johar and influential people such as Jitesh etc are in love with him. That would help anyone let alone Fawad. You're making Fawads outings in bollywood as some universal benchmark for superstardom as far as Pakistani artists are concerned.

@Bold - not sure what is the definition of main lead... Yes, he is not the solo lead but if anyone asks me to identify who are the leads for this movie I would say Sid & Fawad - as they seem to be the main characters in the movie and the story revolves around both these brothers.

There is no point in discussing about it now - One the movie releases, it will be there for all to see.
