with serious films .. You can try watching Khuda ka liye .. That was Fawad's first feature film and it was an amazing one too ..

In Khuda Key liey he plays a liberal and modern man who is a musician. Then they show how a man who has little knowledge of what Islam is radicalized.

Fawad will make you hate his character in this movie.

So no Fawad has not only done romance but has played characters with grey shades.

To bad BW does not give men that opportunity to feel like human beings.What they feel are not really portrayed well in BW.

@ TM, You can not judge a man who has just found a footing in BW, so before passing any judgement regarding his talent 1st let him get the feel of the new industry and find his foot hold.

Fawad is a good actor and has his fanbase when he was on tv. That fans followed him to BW.

I am a die hard Fawad fan girl, still i would like to disagree with the term only global superstar, that is an exaggerated opinion. The biggest global superstar of Pakistan is Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Global in the REAL sense, name him in any country, any language, and people recognise him, following him is noor Jehan, Imran Khan, Jahengir Khan, javed Minadad, Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, etc, So fawad is no doubt a superstar from Pakistan , but certainly not the only one.

I agree, the term overrated itself is overrated.

If a lot of people like something, obviously there must be SOMETHING amazing about that person...

He is good in teleserials but has done nothing earth shaking in BW yet. There may be limitations because he comes from a stricter cultural background and the recent trend for over dose of sex in hindi films and the fact he is not a rock star type may limit his choice of movies.

Wish him well . Give him a nice romance lie Rajnigandha type ..he will charm everyone.
