Saying that I'm a director's actor and saying that If I do poor work, it's because of the director are two completely different things...at least in my mind. The latter basically is putting all the blame on her previous directors for her own shortcomings. What an epic insult to Bharjatya and others she has worked with in the past. 🥱🥱🥱

Of course it would be easy to believe. BUT Sonam always respected all her directors!!

There is a reason why so many directors were always ready to sign her for their movies even when she was not doing good.

& they would willingly sign her again! & Sonam has always been proud of ALL her work. She never put any of it down, good or bad!

She should have just said that if my work is good, it's coz of the director. If she is poor, it's her mistake and not the director's fault as she is any case poor in terms of acting 😆

& i see the people who readily believe this & bash sonam for nothing. That a deepika fan made this thread doesnt surprise me one bit! I tweeted her PR this, i hope they handle it & squash the negativity tomorrow morning first thing!

Frankly I do not care whether directors are forming a line to sign her or not. Good for Sonam if she respects her directors and her work but this is what I interpreted from her statement. Sorry that our interpretations don't match but then again not everyone thinks in the same way.

What Sonam said verbatim: "I'm a director's actor, so if my director is satisfied, for me my job is well done."

And then she said in jest, "At the end of the day, agar main achcha kaam karti hoon, toh woh director ke wajeh se, aur agar main bura kaam karti hoon, toh woh director ke wajeh se."

I knew instinctively that this article was a piece of balderdash so I didn't bother replying here. Thanks N for posting this video! I had to quote what she said cause I doubt anyone (who's not a Sonam fan) would bother watching it.
