I do not understand some comments, what wrong did Sonam say.

Director's job is to extract good acting from the actors, while there are some actors who can rise above the script & direction these type of actors are very few and other's who are mediocre have to rely on direction.

Deepika & Sonam are director actors both have horrible voice modulation and dialogue delivery.

Sonam should enjoy the moment with her mouth shut. I am finding it very tacky that when we are celebrating and applauding Neerja's bravery through her portraying of Neerja, she comes up with her arrogant statements!

whenever i tried to like her, her statements stop me to do that. so much pride u have. remember the film is appreciated more coj of Neerja, not only u.

Oh God. She's going to be 100x more insufferable now post the success. She was delusional before but now that she actually has critical acclaim under her belt, there's no stopping that motor mouth of hers.

She is a poor actress and skills don't get washed away becoz of director. If you lack it accept it.

Its good she is giving credit to director but why trashing her previous directors who trust on her when she was getting heavy criticism.

Neerja is definitely career best of Sonam(Sonam is not exceptional in the movie but if we compare her previous work then definitely it is her exceptional work) and it's nice to see finally she is moving towards progressive cinema instead of being a glam doll in the movies.

Two finest examples of Director's actors are Al Pacino & SRK...Both have the tendency to go OVER THE TOP...which basically means they don't trust the plot & director..& feel that they have to chew the scenery to overpower their trappings...

But every once in a while , they get a director they respect & then they are like THE BEST YOU WILL EVER SEE ON SCREEN..Kind of Like James Hunt..Wild stallion..but if you tame the...they are above everyone else...

Probably the best example of character portrayal (at least in my book) is Godfather part II's Micheal Corleone...To this day I BELIEVE he is someone else who is alive & probably rotting such was Pacino's turn

Another one was jack Kovorkian's character in the little known "you don't know jack"...i still visualize Kovorkian as Pacino..even when i have seen his footage & interview...

As for SRK that one 3 min song in Fan tells me everything about Gaurav..That ain't SRK that's Gaurav..Like there was Suneel, Ajay,Rahul (darr), Raj(DDLJ) ,Amarkanth ,Kabir, Mohan etc.

OT: Sonam is basically leveraging her ONLY decent performance to blame others for rest of her DUDS!!!
