Why feel bad for her ? Mastani was treated like a glorified hooker 😆 Kashibai had the honor of being legitimate

All that drama, victimization, and all those allegations...who knew it was wrongly attributed because we didn't understand how difficult it is for everyone involved in oh-so-common infidelity!

Um...you're going off on a tangent. Where do Ranbir and Katrina come into the picture?

I thought we were discussing abt Kashi n Mastani

As for infedelity, can you deny that it is not common?😕😕😕

I was waiting for such justifications when I saw the trailer of the movie.
Too much fun😆

Haven't seen BM yet and i do think this whole morality debate doesn't really apply to that era and context cos everyone had multiple wives anyway but i do think infidelity is glorified in films..Whether its a mainstream film like KKHH where an engaged Anjali was busy having fun with Rahul or a film like KANK where the protagonists were shamelessly justified 😆 Or for that matter, most Imtiaz Ali films like Rockstar where infidelity is romanticized..Directors like Karan, Imtiaz, SLB etc. live in their own lala land where everything from cheating to infidelity to psychotic behavior is turned into an epic love story 😆

Why I would feel bad for Kashibai. Yes she was a victim of child marriage and her life wriiten as Peshwa's wife which limited her life. She was considered as legitimate wife by the Maratha brahmins and mother to future Peshwa Nana Saheb. She never allowed Mastani to stay in the same house and did not allow even her kid Shamsher Bahadur to stay with them until Bajirao demise. In history she is considered not as a victim but as someone who was strong enough to control the Maratha brahmins and her family in Rao's absence. She even raised Shamsher Bahadur like her own son with education and military training. All of her kids including Shamsher rose to be great warriors. Shamsher's son even supported Maratha's during anglo Maratha war. She actually strengthened Maratha empire.
For me she was one of the strongest woman in the Peshwa family who I hold in great regard. I have studied a lot about Maratha history in graduation. Kashibai and Mastani both of them not weak charecters but were strong enough to hold their ground. SLB showed both of them quite fragile. What else other than murder of history can be expected from a bollywood movie

Cheating and extra marital affairs in Bollywood are as common as potatoes and tomatoes in our meal. For them its a normal thing.

I really don't understand why would any normal person NOT feel bad for Kashi? Kashi didn't do anything wrong for people to not feel bad for her- she was perfectly fine!! Usually the people not feeling bad for Kashi are PC haters or some DP lovers who think supporting Kashi is going against Mastani! People should really start getting the difference between character & actors!

Mastani was a subjective character! Some people felt bad for her, some people didn't! If Kashi had taken any part in Mastani or her son's torture then yes surely she would've become a subjective case too!
