I agree with the general point you are trying to make here that kissing/intimate scenes dont make a film vulgar, but crass scripts and cheap humor do.

And true, some rabid Salman fans here make very sweeping statements. They tend to gloss over the things wrong with their favorite and bash other stars for unfair reasons. But do you think Salman haters/stans of other stars are any wiser? They do the same. No one is a saint here.

So I dont see a point in calling out Salman fans for their hypocrisy when you choose to ignore haters doing the same to get Salman bashed.

Ps. I dont see that many Akki fans in this forum or they are not that active so I cant really say what their attitude would have been like if Akki had a large fanbase in this forum.

Everyone's family is different in terms of what they believe is suitable for their family.

I am actually asking in general. i am not saying that every hero is decent and only salman is indecent , but because there is a certain and unfortunate notion in this forum that whoever does sex scenes or kissing scenes make those films vulgar ? i watched HNY . And the hero hardly pays two hoots to the heroine's bar dancing act, he infact s**t shames her for her ways and later on she makes him realize that it is her option and not a choice. Nowhere do you find him objectifying her body parts .

lastly, HNy is not defended to be a family film, i do not say that it is a family or sanskari film, and it deserved a bad verdict for being a bad film. but it still does not justify calling SRK or other actors vulgar or creeps for their kisses or romances onscreen.

Jumme Ki Raat hai is probably one of the most offensive songs ever, here you have a buffoon prancing around the stage, lifting a woman's skirt with his mouth, and then singing about that it's Jumma today and he wants a kiss, and requests Allah to save him from his lust.

If I were a Muslim, I'd be deeply offended.

The you have the same buffoon in another film where he says "Main kutta houn, aur yeh hai meri kuttiya", referring to his girlfriend as his bitch in a film that is apparently marketed for a "family" audience.
