But with big films little bit of drop comes on Saturday,but with this film I think the Saturday collection will be as much as Friday!And they have only one week,because next week Shaandaar is coming!But the good thing is the budget is only 9 crores,so they will make 9 crores in 2 days!Already the have collected almost 7 crores,so from tomorrow they will start making profit!Then it will be a sure shot hit,and if everything goes well then you never know it can become a super hit too 😳

Pyaar ka Punchnama 2 netted in around Rs 5.50-5.75 crore on its opening day, thereby beating Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Jazbaa and Kangana Ranaut starrer Katti Batti!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a stellar comeback with Jazbaa and Katti Batti had Bollywood's reigning Queen Kangana Ranaut. Yet both the films could not create magic at the box office. So which film did? Pyaar ka Punchnama 2, a film that has six characters- three actors and three actresses, who aren't even considered in the league of A-listers. Yet the film took the box office by surprise on its opening day.

Although its prequel had failed to collect even Rs 1 crore on day one, it had been applauded and grew further on the basis of a positive word of mouth. Considering it has got a great brand value, the sequel worked wonders at the BO as it collected around Rs 5.50-5.75 crore on its opening day. Now that's a huge sum, considering PKP 2 beat opening day collections of films likeJazbaa and Katti Batti which had bigger stars in it.

Not just that, PKP 2 also opened better than Ranbir Kapoor's Bombay Velvet and Deepika Padukone'sPiku. The relatability factor and the funny plot-line calls for a fun watch and it seems the youth is enjoying the film. Also, the film is witnessing a growth on Saturday which means a good opening weekend is guaranteed for the film.
