it was supposed to be 're-al-is-tic' and reality is brutal and hard to digest, as much as I found it too graphically violent, it is still okay to take that liberty of course he is not doing it for real so you should chill 😆

Contrary to what certain members are suggesting, one does not have to be a fan of Sidharth to dislike Varun's films (or rather, a particular scene in his film).

This film was adult only for good reason; that scene is indeed gruesome and disturbing. Anyway, Varun was overshadowed by Nawazuddin in Badlapur. His best performance was in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, imo.

LOL...

Not a big fan of such movies and neither did I enjoy Badlapur. Such movies are strong in the art of acting, but not my cup of entertainment. Only cuz of good reviews, I watched it. But mehhh, I would give such movies a miss. Even NH10 is a good movie, but not the kind I would ever watch it again. I watch movies to run away from reality so give me anything that isn't so close to reality.

As for the argument, as everyone stated, if he disgusted you with his character, he did his job well. Indian movies or movies all over have such gruesome scenes. That's why it's reel. I don't like such movies, but nothing wrong with having such scenes going by the context and storyline of the movie.

no not scary 😆 , just a bit disturbing.

OT - yes Varun's acting couldve been better but the scene was apt regarding to his transformation of becoming a cold hearted anti hero in the process of revenge.

Rape scenes are never easy to watch. This film wasn't exactly for me. It made no sense to me at all. He rapes innocent people but let's the guy who murders his wife go free. Yep makes a lot of sense. Never watching this director's film again.

In terms of Varun, I liked his acting in this film. much better than his act in HSKD. It's obvious he put a lot of work into his character/performance in Badlapur.

He didnt disgust me. The scene did. I found it unnecessary and not needed!

This is slightly unrelated but yeah, that love-making scene from Shootout was TERRRIBLEEE

It was so awful to watch because that wasn't even supposed to be a rape scene. John just went for it from behind and it was horrid looking
