I didn't like the movie.And actually this scene was censored from the print I watched. It had no suspense and had just mindless goriness. First of all they show Varun as 43-44 yr old. He doesn't look that age. He looks max 30 yr old with a beard. Varun's acting wasn't as impactful as Nawaz or Vinay Pathak or even Radhika Apte.

I think what they wanted to show was Raghav was a sexual predator. Which I feel should have been developed a little more. I think if u look at his actions as a whole though u would realize his life was perfect, untainted and when they killed his wife it became imperfect, dark and dirty. And he wanted to do the same thing to them. To hurt them he tainted those woman. I dnt knw hw to better explain it bt in the context of the film I think it was right. And then as for your well we all have diff views

I was abit traumatised by this film I loved it bt these scenes left me abit shaken watched it once haven't watched it again. This scene is just sad to see some1 be used like a piece of tissue and thrown away was just sick. Bt that radhika scene was even worse beyond creepy and disgusting. Bt really rape is rape I wouldn't want it to be glamorized and I dnt think it should be. Just show it for what it is which is disgusting.

Back to the scene,

It personally came to me as a shock... and it kind of reminded me of the scene between John and Kangana in Shootout. -- It was okay, this film was rated for adults therefore this scene. I found the scene very disturbing but Varun Dhawan and Huma's chemistry is Mint.

At people comparing it with Maya Memsaab, ha ha ha.

Maya Memsaab scene was worse in every way possible... there is no comparison...Varun is not butt naked unlike Lungi.. neither can we see HUMA's nipples ...and then neither do we see any scene which shows Huma in between Varun's legs, both naked. I don't see any of it.

I haven't watched the film properly, saw it on Eros app still it was one of its kind experience never seen a film and hero as dark & twisted as shown in Badlapur in BW. This particular scene evokes disgust as it was suppose to and I think varun delivered a class performance held his own admist such ace actors.

Badlapur is not a typical BW revenge saga...this was a twisted story...this scene was meant to evoke disgust and to show how far Raghu had gone to take his revenge...where the chars were not positive they were dark...the climax itself left many wondering as who was worse Raghu or Liak,neither did Sriram try to justify Raghu's actions...Raghu had gone blind in the course of taking revenge...

You summed it up perfectly VD-Radhika scenes were mayhem..Raghu's character was irredeamable & this is what makes badlapur unique that Sriram never tried to justify or glorify his actions they showed more then just an emotional vaccum in a widower's life...Infact after that entire hammer sequence happens and Raghu meets Divya's character he looked so creepy that I was sure he will kill her as well 😆

How is it not a typical revenge saga? His wife was murdered, n then he went on killing everyone involved. N he was so lazy that he waited for 15 yrs for Nawaz's mother to come and tell who the partner was. 😆 Then he simply went on killing everyone. So lame.
