This Scene from Badlapur is all sorts of W*F for me😕😕

How could the censor board pass something like this?😕 I am specifically talking about the part at 1:34...seriously W*F is that?I am a very open-minded person, and I dont mind sex scenes or kissing scenes in Bollywood movies -but this scene is just...I dont even know what to say right now!

And not only that - Varun's acting in the scene was horrific, and this is supposed to be his so-called best performance? It almost looked comical to me..in a bad way, it was so poorly-shot and directed and whatever they were trying to imply was pretty horrifying as well

I know you are a Sid fan. Seeing you disappointed with Brothers failure makes sense. But come on. It's a rape scene. Watch the movie and know why that rape scene took place. And it was A rated movie hence it was warned by censor board to audiences anyway.

Finally. Your perception of calling out random things such as production value then I suggest you watch the movie. It's not a Dharma candy romance or family saga. It's a Sriram Raghavan thriller show cased in his way

That scene was horrific but I dunno if there could have been any other way they could have showed it. So it's okay, I guess.

The movie was for ADULTS ONLY (as your title topic suggests) hence it was passed.

As for the acting in this scene, that's your POV, I can't change it. It was a rape scene and the movie was incredibly twisted. No one was a hero and it was the story of the film so they did the scene.

I thought Varun was pretty good in the movie because he was given a challenging character. And if you were to say: Nawazuddin overshadowed him - Nawaz is class apart and definitely in a different league than Varun but I thought Varun was able to hold his own and definitely improved on lots of things - like the crying thing that everyone was talking about in HSKD - I thought he did much better in the emotional scenes of this film.

I can't wait for Sriram's next with him! I hope he plays a complex character again. I loved to despise him in Badlapur.

About being open-minded - rape and abuse happens DAILY so it is a reflection of life. And if you felt horrified at what happened - AMAZING! Sriram, Varun and Huma succeeded ⭐️⭐️

WTH??🤢...Thank God i didn't watch this movie...and some people who loved this movie...make fun of SRK's Maya Memsaab?? like seriously...that 30 second scene in MM is much better than this scene...

And script ki demand?? Yes script ki demand MM mein bhi thee...abhi script ki demand yaad aa gayi...there are other ways to show a rape scene which are not as disgusting as this...🤔

First of all I think you should double-check your information 😆 I am not a fan of Sid...nor am I a fan of Varun - i like them both equally. So I'm not sure where you are getting your information. Intact if you go to the Brothers topic you will see that i have clearly said the film looks stupid 😆 I didnt even watch that film, nor do i care for it. So double-check next time before you attack members

and just because a film isn't a family drama it doesn't mean that you can show these kinds of vulgar scenes in films.I have seen this film and I dont think this scene needed to be shown like this.

This scene is supposed to evoke that disgust emotion and there you are, so it works. It works for film and it's an Adult only.

Yeah, even as fans we came out of the film despised by his character. I think that's a good indication of a strong performance.

As for the scene, it's meant to be shown that way. The film and it's content was dark and disturbing and I for one have to applaud the makers for having the guts to not dilute it.
