Earlier this week, Shashi Tharoor'sstirring speech left listeners spellbound as he comprehensively proved that Britain definitely owed India at least a sincere apology, for transgressions during the Empire's Indian colonization. Tharoor's oratory left a lasting impression on the audience, but according to latest reports, it might have created an unintentional awakening too. Unknown to Tharoor, his speech touched a nerve back here in India, where reportedly a growing multitude of Bollywood aficionados have demanded similar reparation from veteran horror comedy film producer and director Sajid Khan.

"When our classmate Rahul Awasthi was the only one to clear the IIT-JEE exam from our center, we thought that he had nailed the examination. Then we realized something was amiss. He was the only one who hadn't accompanied us to the theater to watch Himmatwala'. Hence he wasn't psychologically scarred unlike the rest of us. We demand compensation from Sajid Khan for ruining our future!" echoed a vocal group of Mumbai students.

A housewife recounted her horror story, "When my husband returned home totally disillusioned that' day, I assumed that maybe Ravindra Jadeja was yet again included in the Indian team. I expected him to come out of the trance soon, but he lapsed further into coma. It was only later that I found a Himmatwala' ticket in his shirt pocket, and realized what had happened. I demand reparation from that #%@$#".

A Congress party insider confided to The UnReal Times: "Why do you think Rahul Gandhi went on a de-addiction camp sabbatical? He can withstand Sidhu Paaji's commentary, maybe even survive a Modi-wave tsunami, but Himmatwala? It's just too much!"

The scale of destruction caused by Sajid Khan's horror flicks family entertainment movies has prompted National Geographic channel to create a new episode in the Indian MegaDisaster series, a documentary on the release of Himmatwala' and Housefull-2' and most importantly its aftermath. But this episode is unlikely to receive a U' certificate and the producers will have to be happy with an Adult Rating. Given the massive uprising against Sajid Khan, it remains to be seen whether he can weather the storm or will be swept away by it.

In related news, English Test captain Alistair Cook is supposed to have broken down after listening to Shashi Tharoor. "We might have beaten them twice in England, but we shouldn't have flogged those boys in their own backyard. I ask for forgiveness on behalf of England," he cried. When reports last came in, Australia had replied in kind at Lord's.
