The only difference is, while in Bollywood every good looking individual is thrown into the industry there's a lot of beauty to beheld where Mahira came from. That's why its hard to match bollywood beautiful actors to mere mortals.

Impression about a country is generally formed by two factors. Either one has to have lived there or whatever the media portrays. Don't know about others, but my comments on Pakistan's modernity or the lack of it was based solely on what is portrayed in the media.

I dont know if she's popular in another country, and even if she is, it doesn't really matter - the point of this topic is can she make it big and the answer is 100% HELL NO! Alia Bhatt has more chances of pulling off a Dirty Picture than this girl has to become remotely well-known in India😆

Honey if you take off your biased goggles you would realize that she is ALREADY famous in India within the aunty brigade thanks to "Humsafar". And she is no Cleopatra but she is definitely is not ugly and certainly not anything less than the likes of Shraddha.

With that being said..i don't like her and i don't think she can make it big in Bollywood. She has kids and is definitely NOT Bollywood material.

I agree. Mahira Khan is so beautiful & a wonderful actress . but still i will wait for the film & i will comment after the release. Because Fawad is also superb in his serials (maybe) but he failed in Khoobsurat completely . 1 more thing.. Why she choosed SRK's film for her debue? Sallu ke saath bhi toh aasakti thi? Its so hard to watch srk's films for me. I don't like him much.

When did I or for that matter anyone else say that Media cannot be wrong. The only thing being said here is that the general impression of Pakistan is that it is a highly conservative country where boys and girls are not allowed to intermingle freely. This is not a criticism, its just a view point, based on what one has read and seen. Don't see why people are getting so upset about it?

India and Indian culture is criticized umpteen times here and many a times all Indian men are branded as rapists because of a few culprits. So its not like anyone is singling out Pakistan or Pakistani people.
