No. She wont be able to make it big.
She is around 33-34 years old and has a mature face and look. That rules out younger actors like Siddharth, Varun, ARK, RK , RS etc unless its unconventional story. Older actors like Khans do few movies a year and hardly repeat actresses unless jodi becomes successful. Besides I dont think she would be inclined to do of the mill glamorous roles...If she does she cant pull it off. She maybe a decent actress, but is not a powerhouse performer so women driven are also out.
She has no ready fan base in India ( please dont scream Humsafar, it wasnt very successful in India), and it would be hard to build one now.
She may get few movies here and there, but wont be able to become a top actress.

I don't think so. She isn't that great looking. She is a good actress but she ain't glam enough to pull off item numbers or bold scenes.

she is a good actress though i don't think she is gonna do those item number type of songs as it won't suit her but if raees does well then may be she might do well. more in the league of actresses who acts rather then the normal sexy , hot brigade.
all the best to her

My post was not meant to be offensive towards Pakistani's at all. I was genuinly astonished to see (and now know) that boys and girls can dance together at weddings ect. Because even the Muslim friends I have in India are quite conservative and they don't seem to mix freely with the opposite sex, so I just assumed that Pakistan being an Islamic nation, would be even more conservative.

I think Indian Muslims are more conservative than Pakistani Muslims. Not come across any Muslim celebration where boys and girls dance together either...but then you dont see much of that among Hindus either. That is we dont break into a dance during celebrations. Choreographed sangeet ceremonies might be the only exception If people want to dance...they go to discs.

Mostly, the upper, elite classes are very open with everything going on, in Pakistan...you'd be very surprised honestly. Even dating has become a norm in certain parts of these major cities actually. It depends upon the area you're from also..certain things aren't a taboo anymore depending upon where you live, and what goes on around you. Of course, then there are people who are in between, then those that are conservative and those that are very religious etc. So, it's all a mix nowadays. The typical, middle class Pakistani would most likely fall under the in between to conservative category I'd say.

In terms of weddings..you'd fine both kinds...those where guys and girls openly dance together etc..and then those kinds where guys and girls are separated..but, it just depends as I mentioned earlier. One of my Pakistani friends had her wedding last year here in New York (she was brought up here and everything)..and she's religious...she had a wedding where the guys and girls were separated in terms of seating etc..no dancing whatsoever. Meanwhile, one of my cousins recently got married in Lahore..and everything was mixed. They had guys and girls dancing together, every ceremony possible (a lot of times, people like keeping it simple with the main event only) ..weird things going on etc. lol. Everything happened. There are different kinds of people in Pakistan..but yeah, the media tends to portray just one kind.

Agree with everything you said except for that 70% figure. Most of the country living in rural areas is still pretty conservative to things like guys-girls mingling and love marriage. But yes, in the metro cities like Karachi and Lahore, everything has become open and liberal. I actually like it because a good balance is being maintained. Guys-girls are hanging out together, whether as a group of friends or alone, but as long as they are over doing it, it's all good.

I do agree with you that it doesn't happen in the rural areas. and my 70% was exaggeration. Like, I know for a fact that what happens in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad doesn't necessarily happen in Peshawar and Abottabad . But what started from Karachi-Lahore has now reached Islamabad, and if this liberal approach continues to spread then it won't be stoppable.

I'm not against being liberal, or being modernized but let's just say that what I saw during my trip wasn't too impressive. Girls with guys at 2 am in the morning , in their cars. Girls smoking. etc. Teenage girls sleeping with boys.. gosh -.- Girls wearing westernised body fitted dresses to proms. etc. Now Yes, it's maybe 1 girl in 10 girls, but it's becoming a trend. People are getting impressed by one another. Not in education, but in all this..

Despite all this , , there still are very educated girls and boys in both india and pakistan, with cultural values, who maintain class, dignity..etc no doubt, and I hope and pray it only increases.

I believe in #mychoice, but the right one.

She is a decent actress. Have seen her only in Humsafar. I dont see anything extraordinary in her to make it big here.
