Even I have that hunch. He is a very talented music director, and perhaps the best one to do justice to this movie.

So its a combination a combination of three movies, two of which I liked a lot in parts, and third which I absolutely love and is in my All time favorites. The subject sounds interesting. A tragic and passionate love story is always welcome if executed well. The budjet and dream project chant scares me, but I have a lot of faith in Vishal when it comes to serious movies and complex characters. He has proved himself many times over, and the fact that KJo is not the one producing it brings a lot of relief. Though not my favs, both SAK and Shahid have already given very good performances under VBs direction, and I see no reason why they can't repeat it esp as both have a point to prove. Now the reason for my extra special interest in this project, Kangana Ranaut. I like her a lot as an actor and this is the most promising project of her as of now. The kind of scope this movie offers for its lead actress is something to look forward to. If she aces it, I am sure it would be one of the performances that she would be remembered for. If only they get the script right!

Vishal should ask Hans Zimmer help for Rangoon's BG score. Just imagine.

Oh yes she has a point to prove, to her zabardasti ki rival 😆. Frankly I find this rivalry between them so stupid. I personally would prefer Kangana to maintain exclusivity, rather than getting too commercialized. As far as this movie is concerned I think Kangana suits the bill perfectly. Yes it would be interesting to see who will steal the spotlight. Kangana has advantage in the sense that she will have two guys fighting for her, so the screen space and focus on her character is guaranteed. But then again we have a Casablanca, where Rick was the guy who didn't get the girl, but stole the limelight. So it can be any character, the girl or either of the guys. Script is going to be the deciding factor here. Performance wise we are in for a treat for sure.

Yes it is... Tabhi to we were getting a little anxious over the budget. This is VBs quote from the article you just posted...

"I have made eight movies until now. However, I must add here that the scale of all those films put together is on one aside and that of Rangoon, alone, is on the other. That's how ambitious Rangoon is."

And in the list of producers, you can trust Siddhartha Roy Kapoor too😆 ... UTV get it right most of the times and Siddhartha has a lot to do with that.
