Kareena Kapoor Khan believes emotions shouldn't come in the way of work

Kareena Kapoor Khan is amused by the constant drama anything related to her and her former boyfriend Shahid Kapoor. They haven't been together for almost a decade now. The interest in this jodi was evident at the recent trailer launch of Udta Punjab. There were more questions about the duo than about the film.

Interestingly, while Bebo and Shahid are both in the film, they don't share even a single frame, which means they never even met on the sets. Meanwhile, Shahid has been on the set with her significant other " Saif Ali Khan " for many during for their film Rangoon, which recently wrapped. There have been some reports of some cold vibes between the two heroes.

So this cold vibes story is far from the truth! Saif is the last person to give anybody cold vibes. In fact, if anybody does that he will go and ask him, Hey man, are you giving me cold vibes? Why? Let's just relax and chat.' (laughs) Saif gets along with everybody."

What about her and Shahid? "Though we are in the same film, we didn't shoot together. Of course, I would love to work with Shahid also. I think it's an outdated concept that people who have dated each other can't work together. We are all actors and professional people. Why should our emotions come in the way of our work?"

Mumbai: The shooting of Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Rangoon' starring Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut has finally come to an end."Vishal's wife Rekha took to her social media account and expressed her happiness over the same. She wrote, "Finally it's a WRAP for Rangoon film's shooting today #Vishal Bhardwaj @WardaNadiadwala @NGEMovies. Party time."

Later in the evening, Vishal along with Rekha, Kangana, producer Sajid and wife Wardha gathered to celebrate Rangoon's successful completion together. However, Saif and Shahid were conspicuous by their absence.

Recently, there were rumours that Saif and Shahid share cold vibes, but Kareena set the record straight by commenting, "Really? In fact, I think they are getting along too well! I haven't gone to the sets because I haven't had the time. I have been travelling and they have been having very hectic schedules at night. Saif comes and tells me what fun they have been having on the sets. He quite enjoys chatting with Shahid and finds him a really nice guy. I don't know why they shouldn't be getting along."

'Rangoon' directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is a classic tale that is set against the backdrop of World War II. The director who wanted to work on this subject since eight years now, promises that the film will have the musical charm of Moulin Rouge, the romance of Casablanca and the intensity of Saving Private Ryan.

In this love triangle, we'll see Saif playing the character of a filmmaker, Kangana as an actress from the 40s and Shahid playing the role of an army officer. The makers of Rangoon' plan on releasing the film around October next year. The film is being produced by Sajid Nadiawala.

Vishal Bhardwaj shaking a leg on the dance floor is not a common sight, as anyone from the film industry will tell you. But the master filmmaker made an exception for the wrap-up party of Rangoon and joined Sajid Nadiadwala for a little jig, at the latter's office.

Vishal finished shooting the final portion of the film on Sunday evening, after which the crew of the film " except leading men Saif Ali Khan and Shahid " headed to Sajid's office for a post-shoot bash. Shahid and Saif were out of town and hence couldn't make it to the event.

Says an eyewitness at the party, "Sajid and Vishal always admired each other but couldn't work together until now. They met like long-lost friends at the party. The highlight, however, was when they both hit the dance floor, because both of them are known to stay away from it. Everybody was hooting for them."

Speaking of dancing, Kangana Ranaut took to the floor after the DJ promptly played London Thumakda when she arrived. An eyewitness elaborates, "Kangna came and started meeting all the guests. Just then, the DJ started to play London Thumakda.Being the sport that she is, Kangna immediately went on the dance floor and was joined by the crew."

Vishal and Sajid's respective wives " Rekha and Wardha " were seen talking to each other too. Rekha was overheard telling Wardha how Sajid is one of the most caring producers they have worked with. Ajit Andhare, COO of Viacom 18, had also come with few of his team members, as the studio is co-producing the film along with Vishal and Sajid.

With an impressive ensemble cast that includes Saif, Shahid and Kangana, the buzz around Rangoon only seems to be getting more and more interesting. The latest news to make its way out of the film's sets is around Shahid packing for the film's Arunchal Pradesh schedule.

For the schedule, filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj took his entire cast to Arunachal earlier this year to shoot extensive portions of the film. And quite obviously, for long outdoor shoots, everyone prefers to keep their comfort packing in check and make sure they are well equipped for the prolonged stay. However, for Shahid Kapoor, travelling to Arunachal Pradesh meant a lot of packing. And we mean a lot!

According to sources, the actor, who is a devoted follower of the religious order Radha Soami, was very particular about his food and utensils. He was not too comfortable with the utensils used in outdoor catering and preferred to get his own set.

A close source from the sets reveals, "Shahid Kapoor carried around 45 kgs of brown rice for himself. He even carried a few utensils to cook his food separately on the sets."

And that's not all, the source further reveals, "He had also carried his gym equipment to ensure he maintained his chiselled body. The actor apparently had around 19 suitcases with him while he was travelling" just enough to suffice for the schedule."

Another interesting request the actor had for the film's team was for an A/C room as clearly the existing cold temperature wasn't a point of worry for him at all. "The actor had also requested the production team to get an A/C despite the temperature hovering around 16 degrees in Arunachal at that time," said a source.
