Now that I think about it, you're bang on. SRK has been way too pathetic and artificial in his last many ventures. Going by the supposedly "reality", Aamir definitely trumps him when it comes to acting cuz he didn't let the rat race affect his acting and continued with his ever so brilliant acting. He is just as versatile and successful all the way till now while the same can't be said about Saagy. Definitely even Ranbir beats him at acting at the moment, truer words haven't been spoken.

I blame BI for posting that Clip and swaying my opinion cuz I am in love with that movie... 😆

It's also evident how quality of films seem to be affecting opinions on how acts are judged.

Some performance is weak but called good just because film is good. Some are called bad just because film is bad.

A good performance stands out, it remains good even if you put aside all other factors.

Actors should be judged on that IMO.

Rest, people can have their favs and preferences.

All I can say is that this debate wouldn't have lasted this long if both didn't have merits and demerits. It's been going on since 1993. It is 2015 now. Still it goes on.

When answers are clear cut, the debates don't stretch for decades, even among fan groups.

For me, both had their phases. And currently neither is what he used to be. Still, it's understandable why SRK would lose now. He has not given any reason to anyone to support his act either, in recent memory. He has no one to blame except himself and his lousy friends.

I don't think anybody brought BO here or excused SRK for his trashy films and acting now.

But definitely other way round is happening. Aamir's previous trash is ignored and only current films are discussed.

Rather let's pretend world began from 1995 or 2001!

SRK hams a lot, no denying that, but hes great at both romance and villainy.

tbh it depends on film to film to me if I compare...srk made me cry as well as laugh often with his acting in some gud films while aamir acting in some of his gud films gives vibe of naturalism and relatibilty

Holi, Raakh, QSQT, Rangeela, DiI hai Ke Manta Nahi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandaar, Andaaz Apna Apna.

Now even this list is quite good.

If I could I would add Ajay Devgan and Hritik too in this mix...they both are better actors than these two Khans IMO...

Ajay can WHIP Khans in many departments. Serious, acting, action, comedy he can do it all. But his looks and choices marred him. 😕 He has never learnt to manage media or do PR either.

Hrithik started off as an all rounder but breaks and poor choices spoiled it.

I am pretty much on the same page as you, regarding these actor comparisons.
