AK made history with this movie.I think this movie will go down as Raj Kapoor's Joker which took many years and a big budget to make, was Raj Kapoor's ambitious project and finally it flopped badly making huge losses

The post is fair enough.

Good for him as a creative person.

He is fortunate that he can do what he believes in.

You can't always please the consumer.

He should do what he believes in. And cater to his target audience.

Even scarface , andaz apna apna were flops but are remembered now as cult classics. The audience is slowly warming up to bombay velvet. Sundays collections are better, but still it wont be enough to cover the huge budget. I liked the way ak gracefully accepted the failure and moved forward , inspiring to make better cinema.

What I don't get it is that this guy is known for making small films, so when Anurag decided to make a big film, why did he go to the extreme opposite in terms of budget? To a super duper costly film?

It would have made more sense to up the budget in increments with each movie 😆

I don't really care when and if Anurag will come back with another movie. What are the chance of Vikramaditya making another movie now? When is Vikram's next movie? I don't care for Anurag's. 😡

Don't you think if BV were a success his partner's from Phantom could have gotten money to move ahead with other projects. But because of BV being such a colossal failure when will we see movies from the likes of Vikramaditya Motwane who is just a good if not better than Anurag Kashyap in terms of vision and story telling.
