i see 😆... this is just a movie forum, who cares..may be because the forum thinks males should be more proactive and should take initiative than female stars...

problem is dharma is not the kind of prod house which will provide ''roles with great significance..different genres to show versatility 😆'' at all! Sid has to do films outside Dharma, by that i mean no co-production as well... KJo's guidance should be at the beginning of his career, it worked well... now enough...sid has to carve his own path...

No thats not what I meant.Definitely dont want Kjo to baby sit Sid anymore.Personally tweeted Sid to stop following Kjo blindly and start looking out for good work himself,if he wants to survive in BW at all.Sid choosing K & S to replace a promising Bhavesh has really upset me.I really wish he rejects the side roles of Kjo,be brave and explore more possibilities out of Dharma.By the previous post I meant,Alia never receives the same amount of flack,what Sid gets for repeatedly working with Kjo.Its unfair imo.thats all:)

@Roger:Thank you for clearing that for me :)😃 And I agree with what u said..no choice but to wait for Sid's own Highway lol...which I dont see happening in near future thanks to his annoying script selection😆..playing side role in same old Dharma romcoms😆..Excel movie is the only promising venture as of now

Not really..You can make a mark in simple romcoms too..Ranbir's breakthrough performance was in WUS which was a Dharma production..Its still one of his best performances IMO..So its not like Dharma always produces trash..Infact, KJo is million times a better mentor than Adi Chopra..Look what Karan has done to Alia & what Adi did to Pari whose debut performance was infinite times better than that of Alia..So i get why they don wanna let go of KJo but yeah, they should look for other options too simply because KJo is not that reliable in the long run IMO 😆

Alia wasn't all that in Highway either IMO..She was good..Infact, underwhelming in a few scenes too but then again, all hail nepotism..Ileana was fabulous in Barfi in comparison..I liked her more than PC but look where she is right now..So for all the talent Alia has, she is exceptionally lucky too to be where she is..And as far as Sid is concerned, am sure it'l come if he keeps improving his acting skills..DP took 7 years..So am sure Sid can take his time so long as KJo is backing him..For what its worth, i think Brothers will be a BB 😆

Alia's two biggest hits last year ie 2States and HSKD were Dharma too. No one would care much for Alia atm if she had ONLY Highway.

To bag ''roles with great significance..different genres to show versatility" too IMO one has to establish himself/herself as star. Else after a point people move away. Look at what happened to Abhay Deol the messiah of indie cinema. The same directors whom he supported then have turned their backs on him and moved on to more popular people.
