So yeah Its Kjo's choice to decide whom to support,nurture etc but I think its truly unfair,Alia never receives the same criticism meted out to Sid for working with Kjo repeatedly...while its true Kjo offers him projects,definitely doesnt favour Sid as much Alia..For one ,Sid only gets the multi lead projects or the roles rejected by other stars..Alia is always getting the best projects of Dharma under talented directors,opposite superstars like RK...roles with great significance..different genres to show versatility etc etc..He also promote her in numerous other platforms..GOTY is just an example..But somehow I've hardly seen ppl questioning why Kjo supports Alia despite of her hailing from a film family with enough clout...She aint an outsider,has contacts and get treated like a princess...Still Kjo continues doing his PR work for Alia everywhere

Kjo himself admitted he made Ranbir recommend Alia to Imtiaz..Imtiaz was reluctant cuz Alia was too young to play Veera but RK insisted IA meets her once...Now ppl would say its cuz Alia can act..yes she is talented,but if not for Kjo,would she be offered roles like that of Veera and Ananya after her performance in SOTY?Heck she doesnt even look like a Tamil Brahmin..Only after the extreme makeover she fit in as one,though the sex scenes in OFFO song was still awkward cuz she looked too young to be an IIM student and all..Diana Penty,Yami Gautam,Illeana etc performed better than Alia in their debuts but we saw what all offers came their way later..Yes its Kjo's choice to promote her and cast her in all movies..but then why the hypocrisy when it comes to Sid?..he get all called all sort of names,insulted through out,his fans get humiliated for liking him etc for even doing side roles in stale Dharma romcoms..But when it comes to Alia,Kjo's love affection,bias and everything is fair and dandy😕

You just wait till Sid delivers a critically acclaimed film which does well at the BO..Something like a breakthrough performance..All will be forgotten..Nothing succeeds like success 😆

with all due respect, why as a sid fan, u want KJo to baby-feed Sid? Shouldn't Sid himself go out side of Dharma and attempt the genres?... He has to get independent at one point sooner or later...i am surprised u want Sid to depend on KJo. what's the use if he is getting movies like kapoors n sons in dharma?

I don think she meant that..I think she meant the reaction to KJo babysitting Alia & him babysitting Sid are drastically different..

Hmm.I wont disagree that Sid has advantages coming his way cuz he is part of Dharma camp.But there are some shortcomings too which many overlook.Yea actors get way more benefits when a movie is successful compared to what actresses get in BW.But with fame and money,also come responsibilities.Male lead has the duty to carry a movie on his shoulders.His performance,popularity and stardom get scrutinized the most.Actors cant build a career in BW by playing flowerpots.Backing from a camp can help an actor initially,but he would perish in long run if there is no X factor and audience rejects his movies. Dharma is really limiting Sid's abilities cuz he aint able to dabble with desired genres,explores his strength as a performer,learn how to lobby for a movie,audition for different roles etc..While I really hope he stops being so dependent on Kjo,I still maintain the support he gets from Kjo is still one/fourth of the force behind Alia.

If not for Kjo,Sid still would've got movie offers(B-grades one mostly,not a big launch,still he wud've been there if he really wanted to be in BW) due to his modelling background and good looks..just like how Dino Morea,John Abraham etc got break through despite of being bad to avg actors initially...But Kjo launching Sid,made sure his career trade a different path with good opportunities,..Will say same for Alia..If nt for Kjo,Alia wudnt have got half the hype,opportunities,promotions,endorsements she received after SOTY...Bhatts mite've lauched her,but would've been a mission afterwards to bag a promising character cuz of her baby face,average acting skills(what she had during SOTY),absence of glamour and dancing skills.So Kjo is indeed one of the main reason Sid & Alia's career flourished in different magnitudes..So unfair looking down on Sid for the same while allowing Alia to take everything for granted.Ultimately everything boils down to luck.Being at the right place in right time.

Alia falls in twinkle catogary, so did kareena. Kjo always has thing for similar kind of girls always out of his league. Than he portrays he is gay. I think he is bi and not gay.

Well, IMO, he should atleast try cos KJo is not reliable 😆 He might drop you like a hot potato any moment so better to look for opportunities outside before he dumps you..Look at what he did to Kareena..For all the declarations about loving her, he doesn't really give a damn 😆
