The Fashion actress has joined the cast of ABC's TV series Quantico.

The show will revolve around a group of young FBI recruits, all with specific reasons for joining, who battle their way through training at the Quantico base in Virginia. One of them will launch a devastating terrorist attack on the U.S.

Priyanka will play Alex Weaver, a brilliant but haunted FBI trainee whose past boils to the surface soon after her arrival at Quantico.

The show is being produced by Mark Gordon, Josh Safran and Nick Pepper. Mark has earlier associated with some big American shows like Criminal Minds and Grey's Anatomy.

What is Quantico?
Quantico is a town in Prince William County, Virginia. As of the 2010 United States Census, Quantico had a population of 480.Quantico is bordered by the U.S. military installation of Marine Corps Base Quantico on three sides and the Potomac River on the fourth.

I am so excited for this!

Though signing for show already on air would have been better since that show has been airing and people will recognize her more BUT still this is epic!

The plotline sounds so interesting! It has tremendous chances of being picked up!! Hope Priyanka shines out there! (She is Indian playing a character known as ALEX - Has high chances of being that terrorist)

ABC is horrible even if it gets picked up they will drop it after 3 episodes. The only shows that survive on that network is Shonda Rhimes shows but good luck to PC!

Oh this sounds interesting! I was thinking they were going to make a desi version of Fresh off the boat (since they're big with modern family, the gold bergs, blackish etc)

Hmm, I could see this as airing after say Agents of Shield or Nashville
